Loren said, "I was drawn to the shimmering fringe of beechnut common in ancient Mediterranean jewelry. The beechnut was a crucial wild food source, thought to be one of the earliest consumed by humans. The teardrop shape makes a beautiful, glittering pendant celebrated as a symbol of abundance."
