Ancient Greek Lion Pendant
A one-of-a-kind pendant created from an ancient Greek silver roaring lion amulet (c. 300-200 BCE). The lion represented strength and royalty in Ancient Greece. In mythology, the first of Herakles's labors was to slay the Nemean lion, which then became his armor. The fierce lion shows two millennia of patina that we accented with four white diamonds and set in a 22-karat gold frame, all suspended from a gold bail.
