22k yellow gold bezel set rock crystal cabochon charm. The rock crystal acts as a widow revealing a sea of granulation within. It has a beautiful effect, making the piece appear full of movement from different angles through the cabochon. Granulation is an ancient technique, believed to have originated in Sumer more than 5000 years ago. It involves the application of microscopic spheres of gold individually arranged onto another gold surface.
